The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Sobchak 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Sobchak gets a double leg takedown into Maulovski's guard.
Maulovski looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sobchak is one step ahead there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Maulovski controls Sobchak momentarily but Sobchak frees himself.
Sobchak is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Maulovski is on top in guard.
Maulovski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sobchak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
