The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Jones misses with a takedown

Jon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Gonzalez is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Jones had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
