Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fabio Villegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allen Sparks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fabio Villegas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Allen Sparks! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Villegas throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Sparks dives in and scores a takedown into Villegas's guard. Sparks sitting in guard, not really doing much. Sparks stands up over Villegas, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Sparks wants to control from the top but Villegas keeps moving. Sparks postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Villegas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sparks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Villegas is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sparks sitting in guard here, content to control. Sparks trying to control the position from guard on top but Villegas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sparks told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Sparks has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sparks works over Villegas with some ground and pound from guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sparks scoring with punches to the head and body. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Villegas is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sparks is aware though and is defending well. Sparks tries to free his leg and advance position but Villegas is retaining full guard. Villegas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sparks gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sparks forces his way into half guard. Sparks drops an elbow to the side of Villegas's head. Villegas wants to get back to his feet.
Sparks trying to control the pace. It looks like Sparks might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ground and pound from Sparks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Villegas actively working from the bottom here. Villegas looking for submissions off his back. Sparks takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Villegas looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sparks seems to be working for a kimura but Villegas defends the submission attempt. Sparks is taking a breather. Villegas says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Sparks stops Villegas from getting back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sparks is controlling the pace.
Villegas looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Villegas is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sparks scores with a couple of nice shots. Villegas actively working from the bottom here. Sparks looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Villegas actively working from the bottom here. Villegas taking some punishment here, with Sparks in his half guard. Sparks scoring with strikes to the body and head. Sparks is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Villegas is trying desperately to improve position. Sparks is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Villegas is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Villegas flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Sparks anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Villegas and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Sparks slips an arm under Villegas chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Sparks has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Sparks is squeezing on Villegas like an anaconda would it's prey. Villegas fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
