Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Everaldo Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chance Blodgett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blodgett moves out of range of the body kick. Blodgett tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Junior gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Blodgett seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Blodgett pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Junior is keeping the position for now. Junior knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Blodgett on the ground. Blodgett is keen to just control but Junior is a slippery customer. Blodgett works his foot free and advances to mount. Blodgett landing punches. Junior really wants to buck Blodgett off and get back to his feet. Blodgett sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Junior is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Blodgett lands a nice shot to the head. Blodgett content just to control the position here. Blodgett won't let Junior get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Junior trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Junior is squirming around, avoiding Blodgett's attempts to control the action. Blodgett might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Junior kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Blodgett controlling the pace for now.

Blodgett decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Junior looks like he's trying to stand up.

Blodgett looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Junior is not content to let Blodgett control the position. Blodgett seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Blodgett wants to control but Junior is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Blodgett scores with a couple of short elbows. Blodgett is staying tight to Junior's torso, preventing him from escaping. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Junior keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Junior thows a body kick. Blodgett tries to catch it but that hurt him. No joy there for Junior, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Junior is looking to slow Blodgett down with leg kicks. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Blodgett. Blodgett closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chance Blodgett showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Junior's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Blodgett takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Blodgett looks for a takedown but Junior sprawls well. Blodgett shoots for a double leg takedown but Junior sprawls well. He's pushed Blodgett's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Junior goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Junior throws a right and a left that Blodgett avoids nicely. Junior throws a sloppy head kick and Blodgett moves out of range easily.

A punch lands to the side of Blodgett 's head but he takes it in his stride. Junior thuds his shin into the meat of Blodgett's side. Junior throws a head kick that misses. Blodgett closes this distance looking for a takedown but Junior circles away. Blodgett will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Blodgett walks forward, straight into a front kick from Junior. Junior looks to land a combination but Blodgett avoids it well. Junior misses with a two punch combination.
Everaldo Junior has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Blodgett's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

He's obviously looking to slow Blodgett down. Junior throws a head kick that misses. Blodgett takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Junior throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Chance Blodgett is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Junior misses with a head kick.
Blodgett drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Everaldo Junior showed his dominance in that final round. I think Blodgett has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
