Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Barfot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randolph Turpin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barfot comes to the cage accompanied by Dj Kurt - Looking Down. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Magnus Barfot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Randolph Turpin!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turpin keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Magnus Barfot has been cut.
Turpin scores with a decent looking hook.
Turpin fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Barfot on the side of the head.
Barfot's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Turpin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Barfot scrambles back to his feet.
A thudding body kick lands there by Barfot!
Turpin chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Turpin blocks a head kick by Barfot.
Nice straight punches there by Barfot. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Barfot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Barfot. Turpin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Barfot lands with a nice body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Turpin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barfot manages to avoid it.
Barfot closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Turpin to the mat! Turpin manages to get full guard.
Barfot thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Barfot pushes down on Turpin's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Barfot is looking for a kimura here.

Barfot is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Turpin is just riding it out for now. Barfot eventually gives up the hold.
Turpin is looking for a sweep. Barfot is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Barfot passes to full mount!
Barfot wants to finish this one by submission but Turpin is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Barfot.
Turpin is desperately trying to improve his position but Barfot has a good base and remains in mount.
Barfot tries to push Turpin's head away but Turpin is holding on tight.
Barfot wants to control the pace but Turpin is squirming around nicely.

Turpin tries to hold on but Barfot postures up.
Barfot goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Turpin turns into him and now he's in Barfot's guard.
Barfot looking for a sweep. Not yet Barfot, not yet.
Barfot had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Turpin defends it easily.

Barfot has his foot on Turpin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Turpin works his way back into a safe position though.
Turpin wants to pass the guard but Barfot is keeping the position.
Barfot has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Turpin is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Barfot.
Barfot is looking to reverse the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Magnus Barfot will probably get the nod.

Turpin lands a jab.
Turpin jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Barfot dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Turpin. That did some damage!
Barfot tries to land a leg kick but Turpin saw it coming and moves away.
Turpin tests Barfot's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Barfot misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Barfot tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Turpin is able to avoid easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Barfot will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A big right from Barfot misses.
Barfot shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Turpin but Turpin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Turpin uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barfot steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Turpin.
Randolph Turpin seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Turpin misses the shot to the body.
Turpin takes a head kick and keeps coming.
We've been told by Barfot's head coaches at DJs Locker that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Turpin avoids a kick to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Barfot drops his hands momentarily and Turpin takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Magnus Barfot's cut is getting worse.
Barfot takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Turpin looks to land a body kick but Barfot moved away.

Turpin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Barfot.
Barfot closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Turpin throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Barfot tries to clinch but Turpin is having none of it.
Barfot throws a push kick but Turpin slaps the foot to one side.
Barfot moves out of range of the body kick from Turpin.
Turpin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Barfot sprawling to the canvas! Barfot rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Turpin finish him?!
Barfot paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Barfot turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Magnus Barfot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turpin keeps Barfot at a distance using the push kick.
Turpin throws a wild body kick that Barfot sees coming a mile off.
Turpin cracks the inside of Barfot's front leg.
Randolph Turpin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Turpin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barfot moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nice uppercut there from Barfot.
Turpin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Barfot.
An inside leg kick lands from Barfot.
Turpin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Turpin has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Barfot lunges at Turpin with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Turpin's hand.

Turpin throws a nice inside leg kick.
Barfot moves into the clinch successfully.
Turpin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Turpin cracks Barfot with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Barfot appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Barfot thuds a left hand into Turpin's body.
Turpin connects with a crisp jab.

Barfot avoids a punch combination nicely.

Barfot tries to score a power double leg takedown but Turpin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Barfot somewhat.
A little jabbing left from Turpin on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Barfot lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Barfot shoots in for a takedown but Turpin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Turpin moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Barfot has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Barfot there as he acknowledges the shot.

Barfot is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
No joy there for Turpin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Magnus Barfot's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Randolph Turpin took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
