10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sanjay Singh! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Damien Edna and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the body from Parker misses and Singh counters with a nice uppercut. Singh lands with a thumping leg kick.
Singh clinches. Singh tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Parker's elbow. Singh fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Singh misses with a hook from the clinch. Parker blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parker works on Singh's body with a couple of short punches. Singh throws a head punch that misses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Singh throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Singh looks to land a combination but Parker avoids it well. Singh wants to clinch up but Parker keeps it at a distance. Parker seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Parker throws a head kick that misses. Parker throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Sanjay Singh has been cut. Singh fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Parker doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Parker is breathing heavily. Singh closes the distance and clinches. Singh fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Singh. Singh trying to control the position but instead, Parker has worked for underhooks and has pushed Singh into the cage. Singh tries to work over Parker's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Singh misses with a shot to the kidneys.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Singh misses with a hook from the clinch. Parker lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A right hand to the body from Singh.

Parker is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Singh throws a head punch that misses. Singh misses with a hook from the clinch. Singh pressing his opponent against the cage. Parker wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Singh swings wildly with an uppercut but Parker uses good head movement to avoid it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sanjay Singh dominated that round. The cut man is working on Sanjay Singh's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Singh bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Parker's head. Parker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dre Parker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Some wild striking there from Parker.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Singh in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. A looping hook to the body misses from Singh. Parker does a little dance to reset his feet. Singh takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Dre Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Singh lands a nice shot to the body.
Parker throws a series of punches but Singh moves out of range. Parker throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

and Singh counters with a crisp one two that drops Parker! Singh thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Parker to his feet! Parker is in big trouble! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Singh has taken the fight to the clinch.
Singh lands a hook that snaps the head of Parker backwards. Singh taking a breather. Singh scores with a hook to the body. Singh throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Parkers head. Parker working hard to break the clinch.

Parker is rocked! Singh lands a hook to the side of the head. Oh Parker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Singh lands a big right hand that drops Parker! The killer instinct kicks in and Singh finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Singh!
