Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Suchart Chaowanungkarn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Franks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chaowanungkarn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Muay Thai fight music. James Franks has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaowanungkarn sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Chaowanungkarn scores with a shot to the body.
Franks feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Chaowanungkarn's calf.
Franks lands with a kick to the ribs.
Chaowanungkarn is breathing heavily.
Chaowanungkarn misses with a body kick.
Chaowanungkarn gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A body shot lands from Chaowanungkarn.
Franks lands a body shot in the clinch.
Chaowanungkarn tries to throw a body punch but Franks avoids it by throwing Chaowanungkarn back against the ropes.

Franks breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Franks lands with an uppercut that bounces Chaowanungkarn off the ropes and back into range.

and Franks counters with a straight right hand.
Franks works over Chaowanungkarn's head and body with a nice combination.
Chaowanungkarn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Chaowanungkarn is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Franks goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Franks tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Oh Chaowanungkarn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Franks lands a glancing blow to the side of Chaowanungkarn's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chaowanungkarn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Franks moves away.
Franks clobbers Chaowanungkarn with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Chaowanungkarn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Franks.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Franks, right into the meat.

Franks has Chaowanungkarn up against the ropes in a clinch.
Franks tries to stall but Chaowanungkarn uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Chaowanungkarn misses with a punch to the body.
Chaowanungkarn seems to have got his legs back now.
The referee calls for Franks to work.

Franks circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Chaowanungkarn to the canvas! Chaowanungkarn doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Franks keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
