Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Noisy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cedric Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noisy is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.
Jackson throws a counter combo.
Noisy is looking to clinch.
Good work by Jackson as he checks the leg kick.
Noisy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jackson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Noisy's calf.
Jackson tries to clinch but Noisy moves out of range.
Jackson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Jackson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Noisy did well to prevent Jackson getting side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Noisy keeps working.

Jackson is stalling here. Noisy is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Jackson seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Noisy has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and Noisy moves out of range easily.

Jackson is looking to clinch but Noisy is avoiding it.
Noisy tries to bum rush Jackson with a series of wild strikes but Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Noisy throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Jackson tries to counter with a clinch but Noisy shakes him off and moves away.

Jackson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Noisy's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jackson looking to sit in guard and control but Noisy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Noisy wanted to stand there but Jackson had control of the position.

Jackson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Noisy gets to his feet. Jackson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jackson tries to land a front kick but Noisy steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Noisy throws Jackson to one side and escapes!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jackson throws an elbow that misses. Noisy uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jackson's guard. Nice move by Noisy!

Noisy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Noisy decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Jackson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jackson showed some decent athleticism there.

Jackson is looking for a kimura but Noisy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jackson to get the leverage.

Jackson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Noisy jumps guard but Jackson stands there with Noisy around his waist. Noisy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jackson has got his arm under Noisy's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Noisy has spun round into Jackson's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

Jackson is looking for a triangle but Noisy pushes his legs off easily.

Noisy decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jackson, up you get!

Jackson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Noisy haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Jackson is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jackson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Noisy rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jackson's guard! Nice work there by Noisy!
Nick Noisy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Cedric Jackson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
