The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cloud looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Baskins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's time! Cloud's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Baskins throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cloud was covering up waiting for the punch and Baskins finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Baskins is pushing down on Cloud's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cloud is fighting to maintain full guard but Baskins has managed to sneak the leg through.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Baskins working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Cloud has his foot on Baskins's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Baskins works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cloud looking for a triangle here. Baskins is fighting it but it looks tight! Cloud pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Baskins is tapping out - this one is all over!
