Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Louis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Softly Weeping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Louis comes into the arena with Awesome God blaring out of the sound system. Softly Weeping has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Joe Louis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Softly Weeping!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weeping waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Louis.
Louis misses with a body shot.
Weeping darts in looking for a takedown but Louis gets double underhooks and turns Weeping into the cage.
Louis lands a slapping body shot.
A shot to the liver by Louis. Beautiful body shot.
Weeping moves out of range as Louis strikes.
Weeping swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Louis drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Louis scores with a body shot.
Louis is looking to chop away at Weeping's legs.
Weeping fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Louis on the side of the head.
Weeping tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Louis is able to avoid easily.
Softly Weeping seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Louis swings for the body but Weeping moves out of range.
Weeping shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Louis as he avoids it easily.
Weeping throws a looping overhand right but Louis ducks down to avoid it.
Louis throws a shot from downtown. Weeping moves away and avoids it.
Weeping misses with a lunging right hand
and Louis counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Weeping thinking.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Weeping looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Louis fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Weeping is out of range.
Louis scores with a shot to the body.
A jab from Weeping misses.
Louis steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Weeping.
Louis is looking to wear down Weeping with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Louis looks to land a right hand but Weeping moved out of range.
Weeping misses with a takedown attempt - Louis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Joe Louis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Softly Weeping.
Louis scores with a hook to the body. Weeping takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Louis connects with a body shot.
Weeping throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Louis to counter with a crisp jab.
Weeping tests Louis's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Louis, as that shot connected.


It looks like Softly Weeping has been cut.
Weeping misses with a leg kick
and Louis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Louis digs a good body shot into Weeping's ribs.
Weeping tries a head kick but it misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Weeping misses with a straight right.
Weeping throws a sloppy head kick and Louis moves out of range easily.
Weeping dives in for a single leg takedown but Louis sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Louis throws a shot to the body.
An inside leg kick lands from Weeping.
Weeping closes the distance and clinches up with Louis, looking for a takedown. Weeping pushes Louis against the cage but Louis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Weeping takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Weeping. Louis does a little dance to reset his feet.
Louis blocks a head kick by Weeping.
Louis throws a big counter combination but Weeping scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Louis tries a low kick but Weeping avoids it.
Weeping blocks a low kick nicely.
A punch lands to the side of Weeping 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Louis staying out of range there.
A jab lands there for Weeping.
Louis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Weeping shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Louis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Weeping tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Louis defends well and Weeping ends up having to push Louis into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Weeping doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Weeping misses with a series of wild punches.
Louis is looking to chop away at Weeping's legs.
Weeping throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
As Weeping backs away, Louis returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Louis shoots in looking for a takedown but Weeping manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Louis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Weeping scores with a jab to the jaw.
A nice combination there by Weeping.
Louis looks to score with a jab to the body but Weeping is just out of range.

Weeping dives in and scores a takedown into Louis's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Weeping won't allow Louis to sweep him here.
Louis has Weeping pulled in close to control his posture.
Louis trying to control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Weeping works over Louis with some ground and pound from guard.

Louis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Weeping doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Weeping manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Louis not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Weeping pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Louis is keeping the position for now.
Louis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Weeping with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Weeping forces his way into half guard.
Weeping looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Louis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Joe Louis will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Softly Weeping's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Louis throws out a loose jab but Weeping uses good head movement to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Weeping has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Louis finds it's way round the side to connect with Weeping's head.

Louis swings for the body but Weeping moves out of range.

Louis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Weeping tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Louis thows a left - swing and a miss!
Weeping takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Weeping misses with a leg kick
and Louis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


That has opened up Softly Weeping's cut even more.
A decent looking cross lands there for Louis.
Louis leaves Weeping with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Louis fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Weeping on the side of the head.
Weeping throws a sloppy body shot
and Louis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


Weeping is rocked!


The cut above Softly Weeping's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Louis is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Weeping doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Louis counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joe Louis!
