Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Dejesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anders Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samuel Dejesus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anders Andersson! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dejesus moves into range and clinches up with Andersson. Dejesus pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dejesus moves into the clinch. Dejesus breaks the clinch.
Dejesus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Dejesus wants to stand and escape but instead Andersson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Andersson stays in close to Dejesus's body and controls the position. Dejesus tries to land a sweep but no joy. Andersson trying to control but Dejesus is working from the bottom. Dejesus looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andersson sitting in guard here, content to control. Dejesus wants to sweep but no luck. Andersson forces his way into half guard. Andersson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Dejesus is trying to maintain the position but Andersson is very close to passing his half guard. Dejesus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Andersson is working for a submission of some sort.
Dejesus wants to improve his position but Andersson is controlling well.
Andersson uses his free foot to push down on Dejesus's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dejesus. Andersson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dejesus manages to avoid the submission attempt. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dejesus can't do much from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andersson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dejesus has escaped the position, nice work there. Andersson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dejesus misses with an elbow from the bottom. Andersson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dejesus, who protects the arm well. Andersson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Dejesus is being controlled here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dejesus is looking to regain half guard here but Andersson keeps moving and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Andersson tries for a kimura but Dejesus is defending well. Andersson tries for a kimura but Dejesus is defending well. Dejesus really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Andersson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Dejesus shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Dejesus was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Dejesus working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dejesus tries to stand but Andersson is controlling his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andersson regains half guard there - taking advantage of Dejesus's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Dejesus missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Andersson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dejesus's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dejesus's back! Andersson is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dejesus trying to control the position but Andersson manages to sink in the hooks. Dejesus is in bad spot here.

Andersson has Dejesus pulled in close to control his posture. Andersson has a closed guard, preventing Dejesus from standing up. Dejesus is looking to pass into half guard but Andersson pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Andersson is in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Andersson trying to control the position from guard on top but Dejesus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andersson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Andersson's corner is telling him to maintain position. Andersson passes Dejesus's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Andersson wants to control but Dejesus is keeping him busy. Dejesus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Andersson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dejesus knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Andersson on the ground. Andersson trying to mount his opponent but Dejesus defends it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Andersson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Andersson prevents Dejesus from improving his position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Andersson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Andersson is keen to just control but Dejesus is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anders Andersson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Andersson throws a jab but it's blocked by Dejesus. Dejesus thinks about countering with a head kick. Dejesus closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Andersson did well to prevent Dejesus getting side control. Andersson actively working from the bottom here. Dejesus missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Andersson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Andersson is controlling Dejesus's trapped leg to prevent Dejesus from advancing to side control. Dejesus wants to lay and pray for a moment but Andersson keeps working.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Dejesus throws a head kick but Andersson moves out of range.
Andersson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Dejesus fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Andersson to the ground. Dejesus is now in Andersson's guard. Andersson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dejesus wants to get up but he can't break Andersson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Andersson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dejesus defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andersson has his hands on Dejesus's head, controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dejesus stands up over Andersson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Dejesus postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dejesus wants to control from the top but Andersson keeps moving. Dejesus wants to get up but he can't break Andersson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andersson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Dejesus looking to sit in guard and control but Andersson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Andersson wants to pass the guard but Dejesus is keeping the position. Andersson drops back looking for a leg! Dejesus is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dejesus manages to kick Andersson off! Andersson jumps back into Dejesus's guard. Andersson trying to control the position from guard on top but Dejesus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dejesus not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Anders Andersson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Andersson seems keen to control Dejesus's posture. Samuel Dejesus has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Andersson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dejesus defends well.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Samuel Dejesus. I think Andersson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
