Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Patches Meech (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jo Roblin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meech comes to the cage accompanied by shear it maybe. The key to victory for Patches Meech has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roblin fails with a takedown attempt.
Meech looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Roblin throws a nice looking combination but Meech bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Roblin lands with an overhand left.

Roblin closes the distance and clinches.
Roblin content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Roblin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Roblin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Roblin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Meech moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Roblin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Meech's waist but Meech gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roblin off to one side.
Roblin has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Meech is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Roblin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Meech.

Roblin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Meech was covering up waiting for the punch and Roblin finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Roblin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Meech wants to stand but Roblin is controlling the position.
