Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanaka drives through with a takedown into guard.
McFreele throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Tanaka advances to half guard.
McFreele missing with punches from the bottom.
Tanaka trying to mount his opponent but McFreele defends it.
McFreele wants to control but Tanaka is keeping busy and won't allow it.
McFreele tries to roll over but Tanaka keeps him under control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Tanaka looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

McFreele tries to roll over but Tanaka keeps him under control.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Tanaka feints and as McFreele raises his hands in defense, Tanaka changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Tanaka is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Tanaka is breathing heavily.
McFreele tries to strike from the bottom.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
McFreele will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Tanaka gets caught flat footed, as McFreele shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Tanaka is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
McFreele manages to get to full guard.
McFreele can't keep his opponent in guard - Tanaka advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
McFreele is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tanaka seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. McFreele is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
