Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Qasim Barakat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robert Sullivan has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Qasim Barakat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robert Sullivan! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barakat moves out of range of the body kick from Sullivan.
Barakat slips under a jab from Sullivan. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sullivan. Barakat throws a hook but Sullivan blocks it. Barakat throws the left hand but Sullivan avoids the punch easily. Barakat lands with a nice body punch. Sullivan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Sullivan tries to clinch but Barakat moves away and Barakat counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Barakat connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Barakat has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Barakat keeps the fight on the outside. Sullivan misses with an attempted mid kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sullivan connects with an inside leg kick. Barakat fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sullivan. Barakat throws a looping overhand right but Sullivan ducks down to avoid it. Sullivan tries to counter by closing the distance. Barakat dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sullivan. That did some damage! Sullivan misses with a straight right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barakat takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Barakat just misses with a punch to the body.
Barakat scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Donk. Sullivan catches Barakat right on the button with a cross. Barakat jabbing away but nothing is landing. Sullivan defending well as Barakat loads up on a big left hand. Sullivan moves out of range as Barakat strikes. Barakat lands with a nice body punch. Barakat lands a glancing blow to the side of Sullivan's head. Sullivan misses with a body kick. Sullivan ducks under a wild hook from Barakat. Barakat moves out of range of the body kick. Sullivan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sullivan takes a body punch but keeps moving. Sullivan ducks under a wild hook from Barakat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Barakat crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sullivan - the referee stops the clock and Barakat gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sullivan. Barakat manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Sullivan moves out of range of the strikes. Barakat misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sullivan.
Barakat throws an overhand right that lands on Sullivan's shoulder, as Sullivan tries to avoid the shot. Barakat misses with an uppercut
and Sullivan counters with a leg kick. Sullivan scores with the left hand. Barakat knows he should have avoided that one. Sullivan wants to clinch. Sullivan is looking to land body kicks. Barakat cracks Sullivan with a good jab. Sullivan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Barakat will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Sullivan closes the distance and clinches. Barakat breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sullivan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Barakat was well out of range. Poor timing from Sullivan. Nice defenses there by Sullivan. Barakat jabs Sullivan to the body, keeping him at a distance. A big left from Barakat misses. A big left from Barakat misses. Sullivan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Barakat feints and then cracks Sullivan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sullivan down. Barakat blocks a leg kick. Barakat is looking to counter punch. Barakat goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Sullivan is looking to land body kicks. Sullivan lands with a right hand. Barakat swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A kick lands to the mid section there for Barakat. Sullivan tries to clinch but Barakat moves away and Barakat counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sullivan's knee momentarily. Sullivan tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Barakat manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barakat avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sullivan gets off balance looking for a body kick and Barakat connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fight stays on the outside here - Sullivan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Barakat moves out of range as Sullivan throws a body kick.
Barakat ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sullivan moves away. Sullivan is looking to clinch. Barakat shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Barakat throws the left hand but Sullivan avoids the punch easily. Barakat throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Sullivan counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Nice body punch from Barakat. Sullivan throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Barakat blocks it with crossed arms. Sullivan looking to throw knees to the head but Barakat is blocking nicely.

Sullivan lands a shoulder strike. Barakat lands a knee to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Qasim Barakat dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Sullivan is looking to chop away at Barakat's legs. Barakat throws a jab when Sullivan was well out of range. Barakat works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Barakat misses with a body kick. A telegraphed right hand from Sullivan misses the target. Barakat checks a leg kick nicely. Barakat is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sullivan can do to turn this around? Barakat misses with a wild body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That's one minute gone in the round. Sullivan looks for the body kick but Barakat saw that one coming. Barakat lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Sullivan is breathing heavily. The fighters circle, before Barakat throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Sullivan's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Barakat lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Qasim Barakat! Qasim Barakat decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
