Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Will Longwe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Little Rusky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rusky has chosen Sandstorm as his entrance music. Will Longwe could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Little Rusky's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Will Longwe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Little Rusky! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rusky tries to bum rush Longwe with a series of wild strikes but Longwe uses good footwork to avoid the assault. As Rusky backs away, Longwe returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Rusky looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Longwe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rusky tries to avoid it but Longwe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rusky to the ground. Rusky escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Longwe doesn't manage to clinch there - Rusky circles away.
Rusky lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Longwe circles away quickly and effectively. Longwe gets the takedown into side control. Rusky tries to buck Longwe off but Longwe is having none of it. Longwe tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Longwe content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Longwe lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Longwe decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rusky to his feet. Little Rusky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rusky misses with a few strikes there.

and Longwe counters with a two punch combo. Longwe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Longwe shoots in and drives through. Rusky sprawls well. Longwe misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Longwe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rusky defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Longwe. Longwe tries to clinch up. Rusky swinging wildly here.
Longwe went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Longwe doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Longwe lands with a kick to the temple. Rusky shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Longwe lands a head kick!
Rusky closes the distance and lands a one-two. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Longwe shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rusky defends it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Longwe darts in looking for a takedown but Rusky gets double underhooks and turns Longwe into the cage. Longwe dives in and grabs Rusky's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rusky pushes down on Longwe's head and hops out. A head kick misses from Longwe. Rusky works over Longwe's head and body with a nice combination. Longwe throws a half hearted mid kick. Despite the aggression on Rusky's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Rusky has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Longwe. Longwe misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Rusky checks a low kick from Longwe. Rusky lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rusky. Rusky scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Longwe tries to pull guard but Rusky won't allow it.
Rusky wants to get back to striking at distance but Longwe won't allow it.

Rusky looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Longwe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Longwe lands a slapping body shot.
Longwe shoots in looking for a takedown but Rusky manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Longwe's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Rusky circles away from the clinch attempt.
Longwe tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rusky manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Danga de danga de dang - Longwe scores with a four punch combination! Rusky keeps the fight on the outside. Rusky now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Rusky scores with a punch to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A jab lands there for Rusky. Rusky throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Longwe throws a big counter combination but Rusky scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Rusky throws a right and a left that Longwe avoids nicely. Longwe tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rusky defends well and Longwe ends up having to push Rusky into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Longwe shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rusky is trying to defend but Longwe finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rusky wants to control but Longwe is keeping busy and won't allow it. Longwe not doing much here.
Longwe is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Longwe sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rusky defending well though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Little Rusky will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Rusky lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Will Longwe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Longwe fails to land the takedown. A countering left hand to the body from Rusky misses. Rusky throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Longwe holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Longwe looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Longwe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Longwe tries to pull guard but Rusky forces him back to his feet, against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Longwe wants to stall.
Longwe jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rusky walks away with a smile on his face. Longwe gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. No joy there for Rusky, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Rusky is breathing heavily. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Longwe tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rusky smiles and moves away.

A punch combination from Rusky misses. Rusky connects with a body shot that sends Longwe's belly button to the back. Longwe shoots in but Rusky avoids the takedown attempt easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Longwe. Rusky tries to bum rush Longwe with a series of wild strikes but Longwe uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Rusky looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Longwe swings for the body but Rusky moves out of range.

Longwe is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rusky defends well. Longwe tries to strike from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rusky wants to stand but Longwe has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Longwe is adopting a defensive guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Longwe looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Will Longwe overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rusky prevents Longwe from getting back to his feet. Longwe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rusky has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Longwe is proving hard to escape from. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rusky trying to control the position from guard on top but Longwe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Little Rusky showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Longwe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Longwe dives in and grabs Rusky's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rusky pushes down on Longwe's head and hops out. Rusky throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Longwe dodges the punch combination from Rusky.
Longwe appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Longwe shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rusky defends it nicely. Longwe misses with a jab, cross combination.
As Longwe backs off Rusky throws a huge counter combo but Longwe manages to avoid it all. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Longwe is looking to clinch. Rusky misses with a double jab.

Longwe goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rusky prevents it.

A head kick misses from Rusky. Rusky has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Rusky fails to land with a series of punches.
Longwe seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Longwe tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rusky defends well and Longwe ends up having to push Rusky into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Longwe bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rusky is looking to regain half guard here but Longwe keeps moving and retains side control. You can see the frustration on Rusky's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Rusky is pushing Longwe's head away, looking to escape. Longwe manages to hold on to the position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Longwe working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Longwe lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Rusky down.
Longwe is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Rusky will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Rusky takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Longwe lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Rusky down.
Rusky tries to improve position but can't. Longwe working the head with strikes. Longwe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rusky keeps working. Longwe looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Rusky is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Longwe is controlling him well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rusky tries to escape back to his feet but Longwe has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Rusky's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Rusky is tapping! Longwe saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
