Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bill Bremner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Nickoson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bill Bremner!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Bryan Nickoson!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Bremner misses.

Bremner darts in and clinches Nickoson up against the ropes.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Nickoson.
Bremner tries to work over Nickoson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Nickoson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Nickoson is trying to maintain a safe position but Bremner gets an underhook and turns Nickoson into the ropes.
Nickoson is trying to break free.
Nickoson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bremner.
Bremner fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Bremner pulls guard.
Bremner looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bremner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bremner seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Nickoson postures up.
Bremner wants to stand and escape but Nickoson is having none of it.
Bremner has his hands on Nickoson's head, controlling the position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Nickoson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Nickoson misses with a looping left.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bremner missing with a left hand there. Nickoson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bremner walks into a left hand.
Jab by Nickoson.
Nickoson throws out a loose jab but Bremner uses good head movement to avoid it.
A big right from Nickoson misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Nickoson misses the target.
Bremner keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Nickoson.
Bremner scores with a head kick.

Bremner moves into the clinch.
Nickoson blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Bremner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bremner connects with a looping right hand.
Bremner throws a lazy uppercut
and Nickoson counters with a series of strikes. Bremner will be more careful next time no doubt.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Bremner.
Bremner avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bremner looks to score with a jab to the body but Nickoson is just out of range.
Bremner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nickoson avoids it really well and circles away.
Bremner throws a solid leg kick but Nickoson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bremner.
Nickoson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Nickoson tries to keep at a distance but Bremner has taken the fight into the clinch.
Nickoson takes an elbow to the forehead.
Nickoson misses with a punch on the inside.
Nickoson is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bremner is keeping busy.
Bremner tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Nickoson's elbow.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bremner misses with a knee strike.
Bremner has a couple of punches blocked by Nickoson.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Bremner.
Nickoson tries a body shot but Bremner blocks it.
Bremner has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Nickoson after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill Bremner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bremner wants to stall.
Bremner misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Nickoson.
Nickoson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Nickoson tries to break free but Bremner pushes him back against the ropes.
Bremner throws a punch but it's blocked by Nickoson.

Bremner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nickoson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Bremner ducks under a wild hook from Nickoson.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Bryan Nickoson will probably get the nod.
That's time! Bremner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Nickoson cracks Bremner with a right hand to the side of the head.
Bremner walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Nickoson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nickoson scores with a three punch combo!
Bremner looks to clinch
and Nickoson counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Bremner! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Nickoson!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bryan Nickoson!
Bryan Nickoson is the new welterweight champion!
