Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Enzo Galasso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Mera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Enzo Galasso! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, Jose Mera! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mera shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Galasso manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Galasso is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mera is aware though and is defending well. Mera trying to control the position from guard on top but Galasso is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mera won't allow Galasso to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mera avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Galasso won't allow Mera to sweep him here. Mera is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Galasso defends well. Galasso stopping the sweep attempt from Mera. Galasso sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mera's guard. Mera manages to get to full guard.

Galasso is trying to control. Mera wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Mera is trying to get back to full guard. Galasso is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mera is pressing down on Galasso's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Mera can't keep his opponent in guard - Galasso advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Enzo Galasso will probably get the nod. That's time! Galasso's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Galasso lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Galasso fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mera manages to avoid it. Galasso ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mera moves away. Galasso throws a shot from downtown. Mera moves away and avoids it. Mera changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Galasso looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mera working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Mera misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Galasso regains half guard there - taking advantage of Mera's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Galasso is refusing to be controlled, as Mera sits in half guard. Galasso tries to roll over but Mera keeps him under control. Mera trying to mount his opponent but Galasso defends it. Mera sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Galasso defending well though.

Mera missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Galasso is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mera pulls his head out easily. Mera is trying to work for a kimura but Galasso is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Nice strikes from Mera there. Mera thows a huge punch but Galasso dodges it nicely.
Galasso looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Mera takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Mera thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Galasso's head. Mera trying to pass the guard but Galasso defending well. Mera frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Mera misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mera looking to control but Galasso is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mera cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Galasso regains half guard. Galasso actively working from the bottom here. Mera is trying to control the action in half guard but Galasso is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Galasso works his way to full guard. Good work. Mera trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Galasso has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mera can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mera trying to control the position from guard on top but Galasso is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Galasso escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mera gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mera passes Galasso's left leg - he's now in half guard. Galasso is looking for a sweep. Mera is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Galasso is staying active underneath Mera, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Galasso is pressing down on Mera's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Mera trying to control but Galasso is working from the bottom. Galasso looking to control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Galasso looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mera is one step ahead there. Mera trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jose Mera showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Mera wants to clinch. Mera darts in and clinches Galasso up against the cage. Galasso successfully pulls guard.
