Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Adama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Ulriksen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ulriksen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Threw It On The Ground. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Victor Ulriksen!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Ulriksen there.
Ulriksen dives in for a single leg takedown but Adama sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Adama lands with a slapping head kick.
Adama fails to land with a series of punches.
Adama takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Adama gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Adama lands a nice elbow.
Adama lands with a light punch inside.
Adama is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ulriksen is defending well for now.
Ulriksen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Adama pulls his leg out and moves away.
A jab from Ulriksen misses.
Donk. Ulriksen catches Adama right on the button with a cross.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ulriksen has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ulriksen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ulriksen shoots in looking for a takedown. Adama tries to sprawl out of it but Ulriksen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Adama manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
William Adama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Ulriksen.
Adama drops Ulriksen with a huge uppercut! Ulriksen drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Adama is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). William Adama!
During a confident post fight interview, William Adama thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
