Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Amos Mutton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jiu jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Amos Mutton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, jiu jitsu! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! jitsu shoots in but Mutton avoids the takedown attempt easily. Mutton is looking to take this fight into the clinch. jitsu throws a low kick, looking for Mutton's leg but Mutton calmly moves out of range. Amos Mutton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. jitsu gets a clinch. Mutton drops down looking for an ankle pick but jitsu pulls his leg out and moves away.
jitsu uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mutton. jitsu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mutton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. jitsu looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Mutton misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Mutton connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused jitsu some visible discomfort.
Mutton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for jitsu on the ground. jitsu is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mutton wants to lay and pray for a moment but jitsu keeps working. jitsu is looking for a sweep. jitsu is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. jitsu is trying to control Mutton's posture but Mutton avoids it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. jitsu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mutton moves out of range and avoids them all easily. jitsu drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. jitsu tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Mutton can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. jitsu working the ground and pound but Mutton is defending the strikes. Mutton tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but jitsu wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Mutton can't do much from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. jitsu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mutton keeps working.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. jitsu misses with a few strikes there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. jitsu misses with a two punch combination.
Mutton shoots in and bounces jitsu off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Mutton is breathing heavily. jitsu trying to keep a closed guard but Mutton is proving a slippery customer.

jitsu had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Mutton is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. jitsu Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mutton's back instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. jitsu is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. jitsu gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. jitsu gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. jitsu apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Some bone on bone action there as Mutton checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Mutton avoids a kick to the body.
jitsu closes the distance and clinches. jitsu has Mutton pushed against the cage. Mutton is trying to stall.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

jitsu scores with a nice head shot. Mutton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but jitsu moves away. jitsu just misses with a punch to the body.
Mutton throws the kick towards the body but jitsu avoids it. jitsu closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Mutton struggling a bit here. jitsu in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Mutton is trying to get back to half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. jitsu is looking to take a break and control but Mutton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Check out the look on jitsu's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
jitsu tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no jitsu has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! jitsu works to advance to full mount. Mutton defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. jitsu breaks from Mutton's wrist control and lands an elbow. jitsu wants to control the pace but Mutton is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. jitsu lands a big shot there that rocks Mutton but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! jitsu has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mutton's face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. jitsu trying to control but he's not successful this time. Mutton tries to buck jitsu off but he can't manage it. Mutton swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. jitsu working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The referee warns Mutton that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
jitsu trying to control but he's not successful this time. Mutton has given up his back here. Will jitsu look for the submission or keep pounding away?
jitsu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Will jitsu go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
That's four minutes gone in the round. jitsu lands shots from the back. Mutton prevents jitsu from getting a body triangle. jitsu just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Mutton is taking damage to the body and head. jitsu gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. jitsu tries to keep control of the position but Mutton is staying busy. jitsu has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Mutton has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
jiu jitsu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
jitsu shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Mutton moves out of range of the body kick. Mutton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and jitsu connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. jitsu swings for the body but Mutton moves out of range.

A telegraphed right hand from jitsu misses the target. jitsu looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. jitsu looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. jitsu throwing shots but Mutton is blocking nicely. jitsu wants to control but Mutton is keeping him busy. jitsu lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Mutton looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Mutton is not content to let jitsu control the position. jitsu slows the pace down in half guard. jitsu working the head and body with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. jitsu frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. jitsu pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. jitsu wants to control the pace but Mutton is squirming around nicely. jitsu lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round. jitsu postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mutton looks a forlorn figure.
jitsu quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for jitsu but it's paid off an Mutton is forced to tap! Nice work by jitsu.
