Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henrik Danielsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Zanik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zanik has chosen Walk this way as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zanik has taken the fight to the clinch.
Zanik gets control of Danielsson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Zanik will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Zanik is on top in guard.

Danielsson seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Zanik is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Danielsson tries to advance to mount but Zanik denies him.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Zanik is not content to let Danielsson control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Danielsson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zanik.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Danielsson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Zanik was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
