Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jamari Caram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Wolfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lance Wolfe is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jamari Caram! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lance Wolfe! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wolfe shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Caram as he jumps to the side. A punch combination from Wolfe misses. Wolfe looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Wolfe shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Caram counters with a nice uppercut. An inside leg kick lands from Caram. The fight moves into the clinch position. Caram throws an elbow that misses.
Wolfe wants to break free but Caram has control.
Wolfe jumps guard but Caram turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Jamari Caram has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lance Wolfe. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Caram lands a left hand that snaps the head of Wolfe backwards. Caram crunches a lovely knee into Wolfe's ribcage. Wolfe looking to slow down the pace here. Caram effectively controlling the action here. A shot in the inside from Caram.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caram lands a right hand. I was talking to Caram's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. A bit of stalling here from Wolfe.
Wolfe is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Caram to keep the fight standing. Caram pressing his opponent against the cage. Caram stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Caram seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Caram dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Wolfe blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Caram has Wolfe pushed against the cage. Good body shot from Caram.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Caram creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Wolfe is trying to break free. Caram pushes Wolfe back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Wolfe is rocked! With the fighters up against the cage, Caram throws an elbow but misses. Caram displaying some good clinch control by pressing Wolfe up against the cage. Caram lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Wolfe is still on wobbly legs! Can Caram finish him? Caram is pushing Wolfe up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Wolfe seems to have recovered his senses. Caram stalling.
Wolfe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Jamari Caram. Nice cross by Caram. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wolfe takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Caram closes the distance and clinches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A quick uppercut on the inside from Caram. Wolfe tries to stall but Caram uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Caram is struggling to control the position. Caram drops Wolfe with a big knee straight up the middle! Wolfe is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet! Caram tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Caram uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Wolfe gets tackled into the cage by Caram. Caram maintains the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wolfe tries to pull guard but Caram forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Caram effectively controlling the action here. Caram drops Wolfe onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Wolfe is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet! Caram lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Wolfe to his knees! Caram keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jamari Caram! After winning the bout, Jamari Caram thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
