Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gracie Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rafael Inclan!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurstr�m and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Inclan.
Allen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Inclan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Allen lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Allen throws a nice outside leg kick.
Allen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Inclan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Allen to score with a decent uppercut.
Inclan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Allen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Inclan tries for a takedown but Allen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Inclan closes the distance and clinches up with Allen, looking for a takedown. Inclan pushes Allen against the cage but Allen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A low kick from Inclan is predictable there
and Allen counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Allen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Inclan shoots in for a takedown but Allen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gracie Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafael Inclan.
Allen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Inclan tries to clinch up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Allen drops Inclan with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Inclan! Allen dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
