Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nigel Pykrete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Calaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pykrete comes to the cage accompanied by Sympathy For The Devil. Calaway comes into a darkened arena with his song building. R.I.P. kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nigel Pykrete! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Calaway! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pykrete connects with a right hand. Calaway shakes it off. Pykrete thows a left - swing and a miss! A little jabbing left from Calaway on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Pykrete misses with a wild body shot. Pykrete changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Calaway looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Calaway struggling a bit here. Calaway defending against the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Calaway wants to get back to his feet but Pykrete is dominant here and he's now got Calaway's back! Calaway manages to reverse the position and now he's in Pykrete's guard. Nice work there by Calaway.
Pykrete working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Calaway doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Calaway manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Calaway tries to free his leg and advance position but Pykrete is retaining full guard. Calaway preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Calaway is looking to advance position but Pykrete has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Pykrete thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Calaway can't escape the position.
Pykrete lands a big elbow. Pykrete connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Calaway is rocked! Pykrete landing strikes from the mount and Calaway is in trouble! Calaway is still in real trouble! Can Pykrete finish him? Calaway has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Pykrete throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Calaway because Pykrete loaded up on that one. Calaway seems to have recovered his senses. Pykrete lands a nice shot to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pykrete with the ground and pound from mount. Calaway is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pykrete raining down hammerfists from mount. Pykrete postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Calaway is out cold - huge knockout for Pykrete!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Nigel Pykrete! A relieved looking Nigel Pykrete thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
