The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goodman lands a really nice looking cross but Stark seems unphased.
Goodman swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Stark.
Goodman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Goodman is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Stark has escaped the position, nice work there.
Goodman working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Stark is trying to control Goodman's posture but Goodman avoids it.
Goodman looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Stark is holding Goodman down, trying to stall.

Stark might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Goodman haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Stark really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Goodman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Stark is looking to regain half guard here but Goodman keeps moving and retains side control.
Goodman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Goodman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Stark sneaks back into half guard.
Goodman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stark is just riding it out for now. Goodman eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Goodman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stark keeps working.
Goodman has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Stark defend it? Goodman steps over the head and cranks it - Stark is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Goodman!
