The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cameron throws a hook to the side of Mercurious's head but Mercurious sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mercurious gets a double leg takedown into Cameron's guard.
Mercurious tries to stand but Cameron is controlling from the bottom.
Cameron looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Mercurious has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Mercurious got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cameron has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mercurious has managed to get both his arms back between Cameron's legs - danger averted.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It looked like Mercurious was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Cameron.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rocky Mercurious will probably get the nod.

Cameron pulls Mercurious in close to his closed guard and prevents Mercurious from doing any damage or advancing position.
Rocky Mercurious overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Cameron is looking to cinch up a triangle. Mercurious throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Cameron's body to avoid the submission. Cameron has instead reached around Mercurious's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Cameron arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
