Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

Howard bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bryan is looking to regain half guard here but Howard keeps moving and retains side control.
Bryan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bryan is trying to work for a sweep but Howard has mounted him!
Howard takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Howard could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Howard closes the distance and clinches.

Howard has Bryan pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Howard pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bryan tumbling to the mat - Howard dives into Bryan's guard.
Bryan wants to stand and escape but Howard is having none of it.

Howard got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bryan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Howard has managed to get both his arms back between Bryan's legs - danger averted.

Bryan has his foot on Howard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Howard works his way back into a safe position though.

Howard stands up from Bryan's guard - Howard perhaps looking for a knockout.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bryan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Howard circles away.
Floyd Howard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Bryan.

Howard had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bryan defends it easily.
