Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Ferrigno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Freddy Steel! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lou Ferrigno! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel tries to clinch there but Ferrigno circles away.
Steel throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Ferrigno fails with the takedown. It looked like Steel was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Ferrigno has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Steel is landing a low percentage of strikes. Steel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ferrigno jabs Steel right on the nose. Steel blinks but takes it well. Ferrigno misses with a takedown attempt - Steel sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. As Ferrigno looks to move away, Steel throws a big counter combo bu Ferrigno just gets out of the way. Ferrigno misses with a looping left. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Steel wants to clinch but Ferrigno slips to the side and Ferrigno counters with a lovely shot to the body. Freddy Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Steel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ferrigno throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Ferrigno scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Steel closes the distance looking to clinch and Ferrigno counters with a series of strikes. Steel will be more careful next time no doubt.

And Ferrigno tries to counter it with a takedown but Steel pushes his down on his head and steps out. Steel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. It looked like Steel was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Ferrigno avoids a punch combination nicely.
Despite the aggression on Ferrigno's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Steel moves into the clinch. Still in the clinch, Steel scores with a nice short uppercut. A nice left hand lands by Steel.

Steel defends it easily. Steel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ferrigno has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Steel has managed to get both his arms back between Ferrigno's legs - danger averted. Steel stands up from Ferrigno's guard - Steel perhaps looking for a knockout.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Freddy Steel. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Steel, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
