Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Calloway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Pichushkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calloway comes to the cage accompanied by The Death Symphony. The crowd seem to be enjoying Pichushkin's choice of entrance music: Sacred Reich - Rest in Peace. Mark Calloway has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mark Calloway! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alexander Pichushkin! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pichushkin throws a right hand that Calloway ducks under and follows up with a left that Calloway also avoids with ease. Calloway shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pichushkin's guard. Pichushkin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Calloway can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Calloway slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Pichushkin has his hands on Calloway's head, controlling the position. Pichushkin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pichushkin looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Calloway passes into half guard.
Calloway will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Calloway thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pichushkin's head. Calloway thows a huge punch but Pichushkin dodges it nicely.
Pichushkin looking for submissions off his back. Pichushkin actively working from the bottom here. Pichushkin won't allow Calloway to pass to mount. Calloway is keen to just control but Pichushkin is a slippery customer. Pichushkin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Calloway pulls his head out easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Pichushkin works his way to full guard. Good work. Calloway working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Pichushkin trying to control the position.
Calloway seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Calloway closes the distance and clinches up with Pichushkin, looking for a takedown. Calloway pushes Pichushkin against the cage but Pichushkin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Calloway misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Pichushkin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pichushkin moves into range and connects with a jab. Mark Calloway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Calloway shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pichushkin pinned against the cage. Pichushkin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Calloway. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pichushkin digs a good hook to Calloway's body.
Calloway looks for a takedown but Pichushkin sprawls well. Pichushkin tries to counter by closing the distance. Calloway misses with a takedown and Pichushkin counters with a lovely shot to the body. Calloway is breathing heavily. Pichushkin throws a combination. Calloway tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Calloway has his takedown stuffed and Pichushkin counters with a nice uppercut. Calloway gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Pichushkin counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pichushkin scores with a sloppy right hand. Calloway should have avoided that one. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pichushkin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Pichushkin lands a really nice looking cross but Calloway seems unphased.

and Pichushkin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Pichushkin cracks Calloway with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Pichushkin lands a right hook to the body.
Calloway tries for a takedown but Pichushkin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Calloway fails with a takedown attempt. Calloway has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pichushkin. Pichushkin throws a one two combo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Pichushkin dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Pichushkin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Calloway. Pichushkin appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Calloway misses with a takedown attempt enabling Pichushkin to counter with a crisp jab. Calloway is looking to chop away at Pichushkin's legs. Calloway misses with a combination
and Pichushkin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Calloway rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pichushkin moves out of range and avoids them all easily. It seemed like Pichushkin was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Calloway tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pichushkin defends well and Calloway ends up having to push Pichushkin into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Pichushkin throws a nice outside leg kick. Pichushkin drops Calloway with a beautiful combination! Calloway stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pichushkin is looking for the KO!
Calloway is rocked! Pichushkin has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pichushkin closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Calloway! Pichushkin dives in looking to finish! Calloway is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
