Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Mitsuaki Inose!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Inose shoots in and drives through. Garcia sprawls well.

and Garcia counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Garcia tries to free his leg and advance position but Inose is retaining full guard.
Inose lands some strikes from the bottom.
Inose keeping moving, preventing Garcia from controlling successfully.
Garcia wants to pass the guard but Inose is keeping the position.
Garcia has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Inose is proving hard to escape from.
Inose has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Inose is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Garcia is working an open guard so Inose takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Garcia drops back, looking for a kneebar! Inose looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Inose looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Inose!

Garcia is looking to regain half guard here but Inose keeps moving and retains side control.

Inose has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Inose pushes a forearm under Garcia's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Garcia is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
