Gashimov has chosen Mark Ronson – Uptown Funk (feat. Bruno Mars) as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Monroe throws a leg kick that misses.
Gashimov now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Monroe has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Oooooh!!! Monroe has knocked Gashimov down with a huge combo! Monroe steps away and waves a wobbly Gashimov back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Monroe creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Gashimov with a big uppercut! Gashimov tries to clinch up but Monroe pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Gashimov to the mat! Gashimov covers up and Monroe unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
