The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boswell clinches up against the cage.

Boswell goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Silva tries to throw a body punch but Boswell avoids it by throwing Silva back against the cage.
Boswell lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Silva pushes off an throws an elbow but Boswell leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Boswell lands with a short shot to the head.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Silva just misses with a elbow thrown towards Boswell's brow.
Boswell can't find room to land a body shot as Silva controls the action.
Silva throws an elbow that misses.
Silva gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Silva lands an elbow inside that Boswell shrugs off.
With the fighters up against the cage, Silva throws an elbow but misses.
Boswell lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Silva backwards.
Silva tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Boswell avoids it.
Silva lands an elbow that stopped Boswell in his tracks for a moment.

Silva pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Boswell lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Silva or not.
Silva tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Boswell avoids it.

Silva throws an elbow that misses.
Silva is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Boswell is defending well for now.

Boswell turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Boswell manages to end up in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boswell decides to stand up, so the ref orders Silva to his feet.

Boswell lands a big elbow - Silva is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Boswell!
