Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Luna!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Gary Waker!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luna is looking to clinch.
Waker is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Luna is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Luna could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Waker clinches up against the cage.

Luna manages to break the clinch.
Waker has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Luna is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Luna tries to close the distance and clinch but Waker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Luna gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Luna breaks the clinch.

Waker closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Luna's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Luna wants to get back to his feet but Waker is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Waker postures up and lands a big shot to Luna's brow.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Luna is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Luna can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Waker controls the pace.
Waker keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Luna's head.
Waker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Waker won't allow Luna to sweep him here.
Waker slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Luna wants to stand up but Waker is controlling him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Waker controlling from the top position.
Waker working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Luna's head.
Waker stays in close to Luna's body and controls the position.
Luna is looking to stand up but Waker isn't so interested in that idea.
Luna trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Gary Waker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Luna tries to keep at a distance but Waker has taken the fight into the clinch.

Luna breaks the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Luna tries to close the distance and clinch but Waker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Luna tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Waker counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Luna has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
