The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams misses the shot to the body.
Nixon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Williams is fending him off so far but Nixon persists. Nope, Williams circles away and we're back to standing.
Nixon clinches up against the cage.
Williams tries to throw a body punch but Nixon avoids it by throwing Williams back against the cage.
Williams prevents the takedown attempt.
Nixon is trying to pull guard but Williams has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sebastian Nixon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nixon drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
