Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rage Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sudo Nym (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rage Machine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sudo Nym!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nym looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Machine is fending him off so far but Nym persists. Nope, Machine circles away and we're back to standing.
Nym moves out of range of the strikes.
Nym ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Machine scores with a hook.
A swing and a miss from Machine.
Nym tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Machine keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nym needs to keep his hands up - Machine had a free shot at his head there.
Machine leaves Nym with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rage Machine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sudo Nym.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters circling - Machine throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nym on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nym keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Machine.
Nym shoots in for a takedown but Machine shows good takedown defense.

Rage Machine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nym scores with a takedown into Machine's guard.
Nym stops Machine from standing up.
Nym drops back looking for a leg! Machine is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Machine manages to kick Nym off! Nym jumps back into Machine's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nym accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Nym throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Machine works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Nym prevents Machine from getting back to his feet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Machine throws a leg kick
and Nym holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Nym keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Machine's efforts to push away.
Nym gets control of Machine's arms and successfully pulls guard. Nym will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Machine would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Machine will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Nym has a closed guard, preventing Machine from standing up.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nym closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Nym tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Machine just stands there and leans against the cage.
Machine is fighting off a takedown attempt but Nym is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Machine to the mat. Machine regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Machine is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nym is controlling him.
Nym pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Machine is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nym stops Machine from standing up.
Nym stands and throws Machine's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Nym working the ground and pound but Machine is defending the strikes.
Machine is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Nym is controlling him well.
Nym is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Machine knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Nym tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round but I would say that Rage Machine will probably get the nod.

Nym is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Sudo Nym is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Machine pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Nym needs to keep his hands up - Machine had a free shot at his head there.
Nym drives through and clinches with Machine against the cage.
Machine breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Machine tries to sprawl but Nym drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Nym stops Machine from getting back to his feet.
Nym is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Machine is looking to escape.

Nym looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Machine wants to get back to his feet.
Nym looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Machine wants to get back to his feet.

Nym uses his free foot to push down on Machine's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Machine.
You get the feeling that Machine really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Machine is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nym lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Nym looking to secure an arm triangle but Machine defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Machine is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Nym breaks from Machine's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Nym looking to isolate an arm here. Machine doesn't see it coming and as Nym extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Nym!

A very excited looking Sudo Nym made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
