The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saunders misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Saunders shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jones manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Jones with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing Saunders can't handle though.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jones has a closed guard, preventing Saunders from standing up.
Saunders pushes down on Jones's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Saunders tries to pass to full mount but Jones defends it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones is concentrating on defense, preventing Saunders from advancing position.

Saunders is looking to advance position but Jones won't allow it.
Saunders frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Saunders with the ground and pound from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones tries to hold on but Saunders pushes him away.
Jones tries to control Saunders's body but Saunders pushes him off. Jones squirms to his side and now Saunders has his back!

Saunders has managed to slip his arm under Jones's chin. This could be all over... yep, Jones is tapping out! Submission win for Saunders.
