Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gus Bradley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aatos Kesti! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kesti misses with the combination.
Bradley tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bradley misses with a looping right. Bradley lands a slapping body shot.
Kesti feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bradley thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Bradley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bradley has Kesti pulled in close to control his posture. Kesti postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bradley is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bradley working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kesti. Bradley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bradley looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Kesti looks to land a strike but Bradley avoids it nicely and regains full guard. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kesti has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Kesti scores with a takedown into Bradley's guard. Kesti pushes down on Bradley's leg and manages to get into half guard. Bradley is trying to stand.
Kesti missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bradley is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kesti scores with a couple of nice shots. Bradley is looking to improve his position.
Kesti lands strikes from half guard. Kesti moves nicely into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kesti working away. Kesti working the head with strikes. Bradley is looking to reverse the position. Kesti working away. Bradley parries the strikes from Kesti easily there. Kesti is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bradley to escape.
Kesti cracks Bradley with a big elbow. Kesti working the head with strikes. Kesti landing strikes. Kesti cracks Bradley with a big right hand but Bradley just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Bradley is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kesti working the ground and pound. Oh Bradley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Kesti landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Bradley can't do much from the bottom here. Kesti scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bradley to see if he's OK. Kesti scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Bradley is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Kesti can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
