Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Rabid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goro Masamune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vincent Rabid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Goro Masamune!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rabid throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Masamune counters with a straight right hand.
Rabid closes the distance looking to clinch
and Masamune connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rabid dodges the punch combination from Masamune.
Rabid keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Masamune throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rabid stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Masamune has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rabid finds it's way round the side to connect with Masamune's head.
Rabid tries to bum rush Masamune with a series of wild strikes but Masamune uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rabid stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Masamune swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rabid lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Masamune has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Masamune and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round but I would say that Vincent Rabid will probably get the nod.

Rabid leaves his chin hanging out and Masamune seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Rabid crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
