Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mack Luster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Nelson Country! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Luster throws a right hand that Country ducks under and follows up with a left that Country also avoids with ease. Country shoots in but no luck this time. Luster defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Country. Luster moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Country shoots in and drives through. Luster sprawls well. Mack Luster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nelson Country. Country closes the distance and clinches. Country tries to pull guard but Luster forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Luster scores with an uppercut up the middle. A short body shot lands from Luster as the two fighters clinch.

Still in the clinch, Luster scores with a nice short uppercut. Luster throws a punch but it's blocked by Country. A quick uppercut on the inside from Luster. Luster digs a right hand underneath Country's ribcage. Country let out a lung full of air as it connected. Luster lands with a short shot to the head.

Luster swings wildly with an uppercut but Country uses good head movement to avoid it. Country tries for a takedown. No joy.
Luster tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Luster is pressed up against the cage. Country has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Luster down to the mat. Luster avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Mack Luster is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Luster throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Country swats away the attempt to clinch by Luster. Country misses with a takedown attempt - Luster sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Luster throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Country only half commits to the counter leg kick. Country clinches up with Luster and pushes him back against the cage. Luster swings away with an uppercut that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Country is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Luster pulls him back up using the underhooks. Country looking for a takedown. Country jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Luster walks away with a smile on his face. Country gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Luster dips to his left and cracks Country with an uppercut!
It looks like Nelson Country has been cut. Luster connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Good leg kick by Luster there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Country closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Luster to the mat! Luster manages to get full guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Luster looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Country distracts Luster with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Luster looking to control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Country missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Country trying to control the position from guard on top but Luster is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Luster is trying to keep Country in close.
Country throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Luster works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Luster is pulling down on Country's head to control his posture. Country has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Country in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Luster is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Luster clinches with his opponent.

Luster moves into range and connects with a jab. Country fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Luster avoids it really well and circles away. Luster is looking to counter with head kicks.

Nice takedown defense from Luster. No joy for Country on that attempt. Country goes for a double leg but Luster avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Luster continues to drive forward. Luster throws a right hand that Country ducks under and follows up with a left that Country also avoids with ease. Luster lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Luster comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Luster throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Country on the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mack Luster dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nelson Country's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Country seems to have recovered his senses. A short right from Luster on the inside. Country wants a takedown but no success here.

That has opened up Nelson Country's cut even more. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Luster lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Country at a distance.
Luster is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Country can do to turn this around? Country tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Luster swivels and escapes. Luster ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Country will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Luster drives through and clinches with Country against the cage.
Luster lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Luster working some nice short punches in the clinch. Luster is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Country drags the fight down to the ground.

Country wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Luster has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. We've been hearing good reports from Luster's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Luster here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Luster raining down shots from the mount! Luster lands a heavy elbow. Luster postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Country looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Country gets back to half guard. Mack Luster overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Luster working Country over with strikes. Luster lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Country! More strikes land and this one is all over! Luster jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
