Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Britt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jensen Saint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saint is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bad Company - Holy Water. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saint misses with an uppercut. Britt saw that one coming.
Saint throws a low kick, looking for Britt's leg but Britt calmly moves out of range.
Britt is looking to counter punch.
Saint misses with a low kick.

and Britt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Saint throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Saint walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Britt checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Britt throws a big counter combination but Saint scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Jensen Saint seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saint throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Britt throwing a counter right hand but Saint manages to avoid it.

Saint missing with a left hand there. Britt was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

A looping hook to the body misses from Saint. Britt does a little dance to reset his feet.

Saint looks to land a left hand but Britt moved out of range nicely.

Saint scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The ground and pound from Saint seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Saint working the strikes but Britt uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Saint not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Saint seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Britt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Saint stalling away here and it's allowed Britt to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Britt manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Saint manages to get himself to full guard.

Saint has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Saint working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Britt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Britt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Saint is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Britt frees his head nicely. Oh but Saint has switched to an armbar! Britt is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Jensen Saint tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
