Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rogerio Cabral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rogerio Cabral! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Harry Slater! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slater stalks Cabral and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Cabral's face. Cabral staggers backwards, shaken. Cabral pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Slater fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Slater lands a glancing blow to the side of Cabral's head. We've been informed that Slater has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Slater throws a jab but it's blocked by Cabral. Cabral fails in his attempt to clinch. Slater uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cabral. Slater lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Cabral takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jab from Slater. A swing and a miss from Slater. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cabral pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Slater tries a head kick but it misses.
The fighters circling - Cabral throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Cabral scores with a push kick. Slater misses with a wild combination.
Cabral drops down looking for a counter takedown but Slater sprawls and moves away. Cabral has been working on his balance at Den of Tears (22 coaches, $500 fee), so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Slater.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cabral misses with a low kick.
Cabral tries a low kick but Slater avoids it. Slater throws a shot to the body.
Slater shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Slater showed some decent athleticism there. Cabral is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Slater is working for a kimura but Cabral is defending it quite comfortably.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Slater lands a nice short elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slater wants to pass to mount but Cabral is defending the position. Cabral is trying to control but Slater passes into side control!
Cabral is looking to reverse the position. Slater tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Slater has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Cabral tries to improve position but can't. Slater grinds an elbow into Cabral's temple. Cabral takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Slater throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Cabral tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Slater wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slater trying to control the position but Cabral is working away. Cabral is working to avoid the ground and pound but Slater connects with a decent elbow. Slater working away. Cabral tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Cabral keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Slater scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Cabral is in all sorts of trouble here.
Slater cracks Cabral with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Cabral is rocked! Cabral takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Slater's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harry Slater! A very excited looking Harry Slater rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
