Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Gouveia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by "Many Men" 50 Cent. Mike Gouveia has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gouveia swivels and escapes.

Gouveia gets control of Brown's arms and successfully pulls guard. Gouveia will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Gouveia has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Brown has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Brown throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Gouveia because Brown loaded up on that one.
Brown takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Brown is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gouveia can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
