PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seth Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlevolod Boroda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Seth Gunn has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Seth Gunn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vlevolod Boroda!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gunn clinches.

Seth Gunn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vlevolod Boroda.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Boroda clobbers Gunn with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Boroda can do anything to dispel that myth.

Boroda is nestled in close to Gunn, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Boroda really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gunn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That was a close second round but I would say that Seth Gunn will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Boroda might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gunn haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
