PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Mohammed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Allie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Eddie Allie was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Allie looking to score a takedown here. Mohammed is defending well but Allie drives through and ends up in Mohammed's guard.

Allie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mohammed has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Allie has managed to get both his arms back between Mohammed's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Allie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Allie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Allie has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mohammed finds it's way round the side to connect with Allie's head.
Allie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mohammed sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Allie somewhat.

Allie is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mohammed to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mohammed shrugs it off.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Allie connects with a nice short shot to Mohammed's temple.
