The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Dominiguez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dominiguez scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Angel Adriel has been cut.
Dominiguez drops Adriel with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Adriel looks back up at him and smiles so Dominiguez waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
A big left from Dominiguez misses.
Dominiguez throws a hook but Adriel avoids it easily.
Adriel is looking for a counter combo.
Dominiguez misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Adriel.
Adriel blocks a jab.
Adriel throws a big counter combination but Dominiguez scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dominiguez cracks Adriel with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Adriel looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Dominiguez finish him?
Adriel is rocked!
Angel Adriel's cut is getting worse.
Dominiguez sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Adriel's defenses. It connects perfectly with Adriel's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Luca Dominiguez!
After the fight, Luca Dominiguez was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
