Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Horus Chakti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Power! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Horus Chakti! The judges for this bout are , and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Power closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Power is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Power wants to control but Chakti is keeping him busy. Power not landing any meaningful shots this time. Chakti won't allow Power to pass to mount. Power is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Power has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Power throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Power is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Chakti wants to control but Power is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Chakti drives through with a takedown into guard. Power is looking for a triangle but Chakti pushes his legs off easily.
Power looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Chakti tries to free his leg and advance position but Power is retaining full guard. Power looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Power is breathing heavily. Chakti advances position into side control! Power sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Power is not content to let Chakti control the position. Power trying to control but Chakti postures up.
Chakti looks to land a strike but Power avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Chakti won't allow Power to sweep him here. Chakti must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Power working for a triangle but Chakti defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Power working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Chakti has passed into half guard!
Chakti uses his free foot to push down on Power's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Power. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Power really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Chakti wants to control the pace but Power is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Power is desperately trying to improve his position but Chakti has a good base and remains in mount. Power is working hard here to advance position. Power tries to improve his position but instead Chakti has taken his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Power dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Chakti shoots and misses letting Power counter with a right hand. James Power seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Power fails with the takedown and Chakti counters with a shoot takedown. Power fights it but they end up in guard. Power is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Power looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Chakti stands up and waves to Power to follow him. Power shoots and misses and Chakti counters with a slapping leg kick. Power doesn't succeed with the takedown and Chakti counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Power. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Power is working an open guard so Chakti takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Power darts in trying to clinch and Chakti counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Power working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chakti doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chakti manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Power not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Power looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chakti is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Power looking for a sweep. Not yet Power, not yet. Power working for submissions but it's allowed Chakti to get to half guard.
Power is refusing to be controlled, as Chakti sits in half guard. Power looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Chakti stalling.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Power is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Chakti is tapping! Great win for Power!
