Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, James Hogan! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Solis closes the distance and clinches. Solis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Solis is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Solis misses with an elbow over the top. Hogan wants the takedown. Solis is fighting it off but Hogan persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Solis's guard against the cage. Hogan wants to control from the top but Solis keeps moving. Hogan postures up in Solis's guard and throws a big left but Solis blocks it. Hogan wants to control from the top but Solis keeps moving. Solis controlling Hogan's posture. Hogan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Solis's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Solis can't keep his opponent in guard - Hogan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Solis is staying active underneath Hogan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Solis has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hogan is working away from the top position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hogan landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Solis has hold of Hogan's hands but Hogan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Solis is trying to stand back up but Hogan is controlling him

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hogan looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Solis is refusing to be controlled, as Hogan sits in half guard. Solis is concentrating on defense, preventing Hogan from advancing position. Hogan is trying to work for a kimura but Solis is defending well.
Hogan thows a huge punch but Solis dodges it nicely.
Hogan seems to be looking for submissions.
Hogan wants to take a breather but Solis is having none of it. Hogan is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hogan avoids the attempt from Solis to control. Hogan lands a heavy elbow. Hogan landing strikes, looking to finish!
Solis is rocked! Solis is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hogan trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hogan lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Solis! Hogan sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Solis and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
