Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anrzej Strzelba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Derek King!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strzelba throws a right hand that King ducks under and follows up with a left that King also avoids with ease.
King moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Strzelba fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Strzelba rushes King and presses him up against the cage.
King jumps guard but Strzelba stands there with King around his waist. King gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Strzelba manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Strzelba's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

I was talking to Strzelba's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

King told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
