The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgerton looks to land a combination but Rojas avoids it well.
Rojas throws a big counter combination but Edgerton scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

It looks like Wyatt Rojas has been cut.

Edgerton closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Oh Rojas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Edgerton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Edgerton in particular looking to stall.

Edgerton tries to close the distance and clinch but Rojas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rojas went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rojas tries to escape but Edgerton has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
