Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tompa Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amir Faheem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faheem has chosen Tunak Tunak Tun as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Tompa Hero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hero has a takedown stuffed.
Faheem pushes Hero up against the cage in a clinch.
Hero fails to pull guard.
Hero pulls guard.
Faheem preventing the sweep.
Faheem postures up.
Hero looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Hero avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hero is trying to control the position but Faheem postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Faheem lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hero escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Faheem gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

and Hero counters with a nice double leg into side control. Faheem won't be happy with that.

Hero is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Faheem is staying active underneath Hero, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hero wants to control from the top but Faheem keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
An inside leg kick lands from Faheem.
Hero chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Faheem can pounce on him.

Faheem fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hero sprawls well initially but Faheem persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Amir Faheem showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Faheem swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hero.
Faheem tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hero has his takedown stuffed
and Faheem counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Faheem throws a leg kick which misses Hero's front leg but catches the back leg as Hero tries to avoid it.
Faheem closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Faheem scores a nice knee to the body.
Faheem is trying to trip Hero. He has hold of a leg but Hero is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Faheem persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Tompa Hero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Amir Faheem comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Faheem has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
