Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lou Hole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Psycho Chris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hole comes to the cage accompanied by Louie Louie/ Motorhead. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lou Hole! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Psycho Chris! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Anthony Taglia and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hole scores with a kick to the midsection. Hole throws a hook but Chris blocks it. Chris dodges the punch combination from Hole.
Hole throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chris. Hole throws a right and a left that Chris avoids nicely. Hole throws a series of punches but Chris avoids them all with ease. Hole doesn't succeed with the takedown and Chris counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Chris avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fighters circling - Chris throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hole rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chris moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Chris manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hole on his heels. He'll look to pass Hole's guard now, I'm sure. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chris trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Chris keeps trying to improve his position. Chris got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hole has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chris has managed to get both his arms back between Hole's legs - danger averted. Hole had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chris defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hole striking off his back but it's not causing Chris any problems. Chris wants to get up but he can't break Hole's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Chris pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hole is keeping the position for now. Chris passes easily into side control. Nice work. Chris is trying to get an arm triangle but Hole is defending well. Hole is trying to get back to half guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. Hole is looking for a sweep. Hole is trying to control Chris's posture but Chris avoids it. Hole managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Chris.
Chris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hole. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hole manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Hole is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Chris defends it well. Hole wants to work for an arm triangle but Chris is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Chris tries to roll over but Hole keeps him under control. Hole throws a strike but Chris avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Hole slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Hole sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Chris is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hole wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Chris, who protects the arm well. Hole in side control, throwing shots but Chris defends. Hole thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Hole is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Chris can do to turn this around? Hole takes a swing at Chris's ribcage but misses. Hole fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Hole throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lou Hole is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hole tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chris swivels and escapes. Chris bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Chris is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hole knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Hole prevents Chris from improving position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hole is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Chris's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Chris is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hole is just riding it out for now. Chris eventually gives up the hold. Chris throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Hole wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hole wants to control the action here but instead Chris manages to pass to full mount! Hole gets back to half guard. Hole looking for submissions off his back. Hole tries to roll over but Chris keeps him under control. Chris stalling away here and it's allowed Hole to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Chris looking to pass the guard. Chris trying to control the position from guard on top but Hole is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hole looking for a guillotine here but Chris defends easily.

Hole wants to hold on but Chris pushes him away. Hole bucks up and throws Chris to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! Chris misses with a wild combination.
Chris takes a shot right to the bread basket. Hole swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Chris appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Hole comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Horrible takedown attempt by Chris or perhaps it was just good defense by Hole, which made it look bad. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sloppy strikes from Hole. Those never looked like landing. It seemed like Chris was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A combination from Hole does no damage. Chris shoots in looking for a takedown but Hole manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Chris's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Chris blocks the body kick.
Chris closes the distance and pushes Hole back into the cage. I was talking to Hole's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Hole jumps guard but Chris turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. A right handed body shot lands from Chris.

Hole is looking to wear down Chris with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Chris shoots in for a takedown but Hole shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Chris shoots in but no luck this time. Lou Hole has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Psycho Chris. Nice body punch from Hole. Hole shoots in but no luck this time. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sloppy strikes from Chris. Those never looked like landing. That's one minute gone in the round. Chris looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Chris defending well as Hole loads up on a big left hand. Lou Hole is winning the standup battle so far. Hole looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Hole connects with a body shot that sends Chris's belly button to the back. Hole lands a nice shot to the body.
Chris looks to score with a jab to the body but Hole is just out of range. Hole moves into range and connects with a jab. Chris closes the distance and clinches up with Hole, looking for a takedown. Chris pushes Hole against the cage but Hole circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A left lands for Hole. Lou Hole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chris takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Chris slips a jab and a cross from Hole.
Hole lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Hole on the wrong end of a nice hook. Chris lands the left hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chris shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hole sprawls well. Hole wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chris gets slowly back to his feet.

Chris has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Chris goes for a double leg but Hole avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hole continues to drive forward. Chris fails to land the takedown. Horrible takedown attempt by Hole or perhaps it was just good defense by Chris, which made it look bad. Chris lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Chris is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Chris will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hole up against the cage. Chris lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hole backwards. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hole looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Chris goes for a double leg but Hole avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hole continues to drive forward.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick misses from Hole. Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - a gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Hole tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Chris defends well and Hole ends up having to push Chris into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Hole throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hole misses with a few strikes there.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hole misses with a hook. Hole misses with an uppercut. Chris saw that one coming. Chris looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hole is fending him off so far but Chris persists. Nope, Hole circles away and we're back to standing. Hole lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chris circles away quickly and effectively. Hole misses with an uppercut. Chris looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Hole takes a swing at Chris's ribcage but misses. Chris misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Chris shoots in but Hole avoids the takedown attempt easily. Chris cracks Hole with a right hand to the side of the head. Hole ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Chris shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hole but Hole pushes him off and we're back to square one. A lazy left from Hole finds it's target. Hole misses with a two punch combination.

Hole tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. As Hole backs off Chris throws a huge counter combo but Hole manages to avoid it all. A leg kick checked by Chris. Hole throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hole throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lou Hole is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hole fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A swing and a miss from Hole. Psycho Chris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chris forces Hole back against the cage and clinches. Hole misses with a punch to the body.

Chris is defending well against a takedown attempt. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Chris takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chris gets through Hole's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. A short right from Chris. Chris misses with some punches.
Hole pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Chris loads up on a big right hand but Hole slips the punch. Chris tries for a takedown but Hole sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Lou Hole showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hole, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
